There must be a lot of foodies in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn! Bornila and I trekked around (again near-100 degree heat!) in Clinton Hill this past week, hitting up numerous businesses for one meal-per-restaurant contributions for the crew & cast on set, and found that not only does Clinton Hill have a wealth of amazing food spots — all wonderfully characteristic — the people have such class and many are so very generous! One restaurant is Joloff Restaurant of West African cuisine, Senegalese specialized, donating a meal to the production… Tonight they celebrate 15 years since opening with live music and a fashion show. Scrumptious food as usual. Ahh, everything we love.
